Today, hip-hop mourns the loss of industry veteran Chris Lighty, the man responsible for Violator Management. Chris helped launch the careers of so many of today's stars, including Mariah Carey, Busta Rhymes, 50 Cent and so many others. NY Daily News reports it was a suicide in his Bronx apartment, following a fight with his estranged wife. He allegedly owed millions to the IRS, and was also having a very rough time with the divorce. RIP, Chris.
