Monday 16th April was the 8th Jump Off of 2012. In the dance crew battle Spice came back to see if they could win for the third week in a row. Current raining champs Pedro (MC) and King Kevz (Producer) came back to see if they could make it two wins in a row. Judging on the night was Jonzi D, Pierre (Grime Daily) & Kojo. In the crowd this week we spotted Chipmunk, Wretch 32, Teezy, Joe Black, Amplify Dot, Dready, Manga, Black The Ripper, Ny, Snakeyman, Cleo Sol, Big Man Zest, Wizzy Wow, Nihal, Vujanic and Bones.

This weeks models consisted of the two lovely ladies above. Unfortunately Nicole and Melinda pulled out at the last minute. Teisha was back for her 2nd week. If she wins the online vote again, she'll be 3 wins away from the £1000 prize and modelling trip to New York.

  COMEDIAN

Mo

The comedian Mo came to the stage for his live stand up set. He said it was the best reception he's had ever and boy did it go down well. With comical jokes about chirpsing throughout his set ended with a blast impersonating UK stars Tinie Tempah and Ghetts. The place went crazy!

Spice

The young guns Spice went up against new opponents Soul Mavericks to see if they could retain their championship crown. Soul Mavericks threw down first and really wowed the crowd. Although Spice were tight with their routine and adorable, Soul Mavericks had a little star of their own! Although Spice came very well rehearsed and had a tight routine, Soul Mavericks had the edge as their little 5 year old star stole the show that complemented their big routines in the last two rounds of the battle. Soul Mavericks took the championship title and we will see them back next time to see them attempt to retain their new title. The battle was a unanimous decision as all 3 judges, the crowd and Dj/Host voted for Soul Mavericks.

  PRODUCER BATTLE
CHAMP(2wins)

King Kevz

Loop Genius

After King Kevz won the championship last time out, it was the job of new challenger Loop Genius to take the champs title. Loop Genius came on and done his thing. He built his beat around the samples that were provided and made a real bouncy sample sequence. As well as adding a melodic key arrangement, Loop Genius really set the standard. King Kevz then came to defend his championship, starting his beat using the samples first the same as Loop Genius. King Kevz seemed to structure his beat alot better as when it was played back it was more progressive than repetitive and had a real smooth bass line. The crowd went the way of King Kevz and so did the judges as he took the battle 4-1. King Kevz will be back to see if he can retain his championship crown after his two wins.

Row D vs Seano Mac (0-5)
The 1st battle saw Row D step up against Seano Mac. This battle started a little slow but Seano Mac seemed to take this one in the second round. Row D had a couple of lines but never really got going in this one and it seemed Seano Mac had some pre writtens that really got the crowd on his side as they voted for him to go through to the final. One line that stuck out was "your dick's so small your sperm comes out in single file".

Nathaniel TR vs Sam Kay (0-5)
We had an extra space in the MC Battle and it was previous Jump Off veteran Sam Kay who stepped up to plate after Charlie Sloth called him out to step up and battle. This battle was a case of men against boys as Sam Kay destroyed Nathaniel TR. Sam Kay dropped a bar about Nathaniel TR looking like a fake Lethal B, going on to mimmick Lethal's infamous "2 2s now" & "Leave It Yeah" catchphrases in which the crowd went crazy! Sam Kay took this one easy.

Seano Mac vs Sam Kay (5-0)
This final battle was very entertaining. Again the crowd was fully amped by the entertainment on show. Seano Mac really stepped up against Sam Kay in this battle saying "you're a seven time champ, step back I'm about to give a fuck". It seemed that Sam Kay had run out of steam but you have to give respect to him for stepping up with no preperation and at such short notice. Seano Mac took this one for his place in the title match against Pedro.

Pedro vs Seano Mac (2-3)
Pedro came to the stage to retain his championship. Seano Mac spat first to set the levels and came with alot of multi's that played on Pedro's looks. Pedro then came back with his hype and speedy delivery in which the crowd went mad over. Seano Mac then laid the biggest blow as he said "I asked for the news not the weather" and the crowd went crazy. With the votes going 3-2 to Seano Mac we again have a new MC Battle Champion.
