Monday 6th Feb was the 3rd Jump Off of 2012 and not all the champs managed to stay on for the ride! With judges Shortee Blitz ill and Michael Lawrence stuck up north in the snow we were fortunate to be blessed with Swerve and Cameo alongside special guest judge Muktar Omar (former champ with KI in 2004). In the crowd this week we spotted Starboy Nathan, Ghetts, Ny, Adz & Shallow, Gracious K, Adam Deacon, Princess Nyah, J2k, Pulse, Joe Black, Black The Ripper and Ash Catch'em.
This weeks clothes for the models were supplied by Shining Heroes, and the 'prop' was a speaker supplied by.. errr.. fabric! Kica was back for a 3rd week with four hot new challengers. If she wins the online vote again, she'll be 2 wins away from £1000.

Comedian Dee Kartier put in an okay 7 minute set, heavily pushing the 'African parents' angle. It's a tough crowd and he did look a bit nervous but he did finish his set.
CREW DANCE BATTLE
CHAMPS(3wins)
Prototype

Abyss
HIGHLIGHTS
FULL BATTLE
Champions Protoype were up against experienced street dance crew Abyss. led by former Vortex front men Darryl and Ricardo. It was supposed to be a really close fought battle but Abyss looked like they needed just a few more days rehearsing as Prototype were easily the more confident and cocky of the 2 crews. This was highlighted when Malcom and Rob of Prototype took their tops off to reveal 2x 6-packs while pointing at the slightly chubby Darryl as they went into a human-cross-trainer routine. Abyss had some great moments including the high energy-fuelled krumping from Dean that almost knocked out Brooke! All 3 judges, the crowd and Dj/Host voted for Prototype to give them their 3rd win putting them 2 wins away from the £1000 and a place in the Finals.

PRODUCER BATTLE
CHAMP(1win)
X CHAMP(2wins)
Jay Inkz
Jay Weathers
HIGHLIGHTS
FULL BATTLE
Two week champ Jay Weathers was up against Jay Inkz. Now this is where it gets complicated. With it being the late Bob Marleys birthday on Mon 6th Feb there was a Bob Marley sample in the keys. Jay Inkz used the sample then built his beat around it with a heavy baseline. However, Weathers built his beat around the drums then baseline but left the sample until his final 10secs and eventually left it out. Controversy kicked in when Dj Manny Norté insisted it was in the rules that both producers include the sample in their beat so host Rap6 suggested they go 1 more minute each and both producers agreed. Weathers may have been edging it at this point but the extra minute saw Inkz JUST take it 4-2.

HIGHLIGHTS
TITLE BATTLE - Innuendo vs Pamflit
THE FINAL
SEMI FINAL 2
SEMI FINAL 1
Innuendo vs Row.D
Row.D vs CD Spinz
Innuendo vs Dekay
Innuendo vs Dekay (5-0)
The MC Battle kicked off with Liverpool MC Innuendo vs Dekay from Camden, Dekay tore it up with "wesuckanydick.com" but Innuendo took the bout 5-0 with punchlines "your the only female battle rapper I haven't f**ked.... YET", "wondering if the f**king hood match the muff" and "I'm from Liverpool and I drink Stella Artois, its not the 1st time I've beaten a woman".
Row.D vs CD Spinz (5-0)
Scheduled MC Saint dropped out last minute and was replaced by CD Spinz so props to him for stepping up. But no sooner had he stepped up then Row.D slapped him right back down again. "how can he be called CD Spinz when the DJs don't give his CDs spins?!"
Innuendo vs Row.D (5-0)
The anticipation for this battle was really hype as both MCs just put a good 1st round in. Row.D hit 1st with "his uncle use to f**kim in the arse with a pencil, in your end doh!" while one of Innuendo's best punchlines was "man you tryina just tell me JD Sports got a f**kin sale on" directed at Row.D's very sporty outfit. The crowd wanted one more round so Rap6 gave it to em but Manny and Charlie were happy to vote and started singing "you'lll nevveerrr waallkkkkkk allllloonnnneee" to which Innuendo responded "I've been reppin it fam, shut the f**k up I'm an Everton fan!" and this battle was done.
Pamflit vs Innuendo (0-5)
2 time Champ Pamflit camply graced the stage and danced around Innuendo even planting a kiss on his bald head. Innuendo went in with "you suck dick for train fair then f**kin walk home anyway!" but Pamflit got him good with "he goes in all the bars around town, telling the girls to calm down as their rape alarm sounds". It was fairly even until Pamflit dropped "your a little bit of an oddity, he thinks he's rich, naa he's living in property... proper.. poverty... SH!T!" It was more a case of Pamflit losing then Innuendo convincingly winning. If Pamflit hadn't fumbled a couple of lines he may well have kept his spot as champ.
