Audiomap.tuneglue.net is one of those web tools you can use both for discovery & fun. It's real simple to use and pretty exciting when in the mood to discover new music.

Simply begin by typing in the name of an artist in the search bar and the fun should ensue. By clicking the expand tab (after clicking on the circle beside the artist name) you'll be able to look at the artists that are perceived to be associated with that particular act, in hope that would provide you a new artist to search for that maybe similar to a musician you're ready a fan of.

For added fun, be sure to move the circles around and manually organise how the tabs are positioned with the option "lock pos", which locks the position of the circle you clicked.
